Year 3 have had an exciting start to the new half term. They started off the month working with our specialist art teacher, Mr Cornell. The children were focusing on improving their general drawing and observation skills and produced some lovely pieces of art.
The children have also had the opportunity to produce some pottery, lead by a ceramics teacher. The children have all created a Tudor Rose. They had the chance to use a range of tools in order to put a great deal of detail into their work.
On 7th November, Year 3 attended their intra school sports event at Winhills. Children competed in netball and dodgeball. The children played brilliantly throughout the day and finished in third place overall. Most importantly, they had fun and had the chance to play a competition with other schools.
