The children’s song

Lead up to Christmas
We have had such a busy week this week that I have not had the chance to take many photos. The week started with the brilliant Christmas Fair and then we had the Rocksteady concert yesterday. In amongst this, we have done lots of maths, English and topic work. We are working on our 4 times table in Maths at the moment, reading The Snowman and making up our own stories on his adventures in English, and continuing to learn more fascinating facts about Ancient Egypt.
All of the children are getting a bit tired now as we near the end of the term, but they are doing a fantastic job persevering and putting in lots of hard work.
We are looking forward to having a fun filled few days next week.
Ancient Egypt and Christmas fun
We have been really busy this last few weeks. We made Egyptian Shaduf’s in Design Technology, made Pyramids with multi links and lego in History, took part in the Santa dash to promote exercise and explored the 3 times table by playing a dice game in Maths. The children also got to watch the key stage 1 children perform their nativity this week and I have been informed that they did an amazing job. It has certainly been a fun filled time in the last few weeks in year 3. I am looking forward to the last few weeks of term and I hope the children are too.
