Friday 12th May
Wheels were whizzing round and children were pedalling furiously as Bikeability came to Year 3! This was level 1 which consists of being in control of the bike, removing a hand from the handlebars in preparation for indicating, and turning in ever decreasing circles.
All the children passed with flying colours despite fairly damp conditions (they did have to stop temporarily as the rain came down in stairrods!!). The instructors were extremely impressed with their determination and enthusiasm despite the rain and cold! Well done to all who took part.
