This week is National Tree Week, children from each class have taken part in activities linked to trees.

Years ! & 2 discussed how important trees are, they wrote their thoughts onto fabric and they dressed some trees in the woodland.

Year 3, 4 & 5 found out interesting facts about "Celebri-trees" from around the world using orienteering skills.

W/C 9th November 2020

This week our woodland floor has been covered with beautiful autumnal leaves. The children have been busy working in teams to see who can rake and collect the heaviest bag. Over the next 12 months the leaves will decompose into leaf mulch, we will use this at our allotment. We will be adding last years leaf mulch to our rhubarb plants soon.
