National Fitness Day
We had lots of fun exercising with Mrs Besant on National Fitness Day.
Geography
In Geography, we looked at different types of maps and made our own maps of the classroom.
Science
As scientists, we have been learning about what living things need to survive. In groups, we each researched a different life process and presented our information to the whole class.
Computing
In computing, we have started to look at the different parts of computers and how laptop computers and desktops differ. We used the Sketchpad app on to draw and label diagrams of the different parts of a laptop.
Music
To start our music lessons this term, we listened to the sounds made by different animals and moved around the classroom in the way we thought that animal might move. Thinking about dynamics and speed, we used our voices to try and make the sound the animal might make.
Next, we selected the most appropriate instrument to represent our selected animal and tried to get as many different sounds from it as possible.
As a class, we discussed the best way to play the instrument to get our animal sounds. In groups, we created short sequences of sound to represent our animal. We used the different sounds of our instrument and our voices.
