Great Fire of London Day!

Today the children found out all about what happens in London in 1666. They worked as Londoners doing a variety of jobs, such as making clay pots to cast pewter buttons, working with leather using a hammer, pretending to be a doctor and making cures at the apothecary and they also created some careful embroidery and weaving.

The children learnt how the fire broke out at the bakery in Pudding Lane, how the fire spread and finally how it was put out.

We hope they all had a fantastic day and have lots to share with you!

Don't we look amazing in our costumes - We are Londoners in 1666...
