We have been experimenting with our own Bucket Brigade! We transported the water from the River Thames on one side of the playground to the Great Fire on the other side. Great fun was had by all and some brilliant discussion and learning points were made.
We have had a fantastic History off the Page Day for our Great Fire of London topic. The children looked delightful in their costumes. Thank you so much!
We learnt how to organise ourselves into a bucket brigade.
In the afternoon we studied historical evidence by carrying out an archaeological dig and looking for clues.
We learnt about Tudor houses and even watched pewter being melted to form a necklace. Cora was the lucky girl whose mould was chosen to use.
We have been playing a doubling numbers games to wake up our maths brain after the summer holiday!
