Geography - We found out about the physical features in The Arctic. We talked about mountains, hills, oceans, lakes, rivers, icebergs and sea ice. We discovered that a glacier is a frozen river. In groups we talked about the features we could find.

English - We are learning to use finger spaces. We played hunt the finger spaces in our Not Quite Narwhal story. Then we wrote sentences with a partner - swapping the pencil after each word to remind each other to add spaces!

Green Day We wore a green accessory, did some planting - seed balls and spider plants and made a willow heart.

Science - We learned the names for different parts of our bodies. 

Art - Look at our Adam Peaty art! We carefully drew a portrait of Adam and then surrounded him with splashy water. We cut and folded and curled strips of paper to create a 3D swimming effect.

Gold Medals! - Adam Peaty has lots of gold medals. We made our own Year 1 gold medals. We all want to be the best that we can be!

PSHE - We talked about our family and why they are important. Then we drew everyone including out pets!
