Year 3 - Hawking
WELCOME TO YEAR 3!
A very warm welcome to the Hawking Class page. We will endeavour to update this page regularly with news and events from our classroom. We have some very exciting topics to cover this year and we're thoroughly looking forward to working with the children and their parents to make the learning journey as engaging, beneficial and memorable as possible.

Sports event at Winhills
Today we went to Winhills School for a Sports Events. The children took part in Netball, Dodgeball and Football matches against teams from different schools in the Trust. We had great fun and the children did Middlefield really proud. Overall they came 3rd in the tournament, which they should be really proud of. They were all the best they could be.
Green Day
On our second Green Day, the children went outside with Miss Jarvis to help with planting seeds to make the school site beautiful in the Spring. They also enjoyed our book and toy swap and all came back with a smile and a new book or toy.
In class, we talked about food waste and what we can do to reduce it. Then we designed posters to share what we know with the rest of the school.
