Spring Term
History off the page - Victorians
What a fantastic way to end the week - Victorian day in KS1 was a hit! In the morning, they found out all the jobs they needed to do to prepare for a visit from Queen Victoria. Then in the afternoon, during their time 'off' work, they put on a show - they were either singers, gymnasts, strong men, comedians, actors or mind readers!
Music - creating rhythms
Children have been exploring how to create rhythms (patterns of beats) through songs inspired by myths and legends.
Science - minibeasts exploration (microhabitats)
In Science, we learned about where different minibeasts live (microhabitats) through scientific enquiry and careful observation.
