March
March – Signs of Spring
March has brought the first signs of spring to our classroom. We have enjoyed observing and painting beautiful daffodils, carefully looking at their colours and shapes to inspire our artwork.
During play, we also planted flowers in the tuff trays. This hands-on activity helped us learn what plants need to grow. We talked about soil, sunlight, and water, and took responsibility for caring for our plants. We collected our own water and carefully watered the flowers, making sure they had enough to help them grow.
St Patrick's Day
To celebrate St Patrick’s Day, we learned about the traditions and reasons behind the celebration, and enjoyed making bright, colourful rainbows.
Red nose day
We celebrated Red Nose Day! We had lots of fun getting involved in creative and sensory activities. We used pom poms and paint to create our own colourful face paintings, exploring different patterns and textures.
