December
Reception has started getting into the Christmas spirit! We have been busy making our own salt-dough ornaments and creating special reindeer food to sprinkle on Christmas Eve. We have also enjoyed designing and decorating our Christmas cards, adding plenty of sparkle while making glittery elf shoes. Christmas has even made its way into our maths work: we have been practising counting and exploring number bonds to five by “unwrapping” bricks of five. It has been a joyful and creative start to the festive season!
Well-being Day
For Well-being Day, we had a wonderful time wrapping presents, decorating biscuits, playing party games like pass the parcel and musical statues, and enjoying lots of dancing.

Even in winter, we love gardening.
