St. Neots Library
This morning, we had a wonderful visit to St. Neots library.
Science
As part of our Science learning, we are looking at how exercise can keep us healthy. We’re trying to improve the amount of laps of the playground we can complete in five minutes. We’ll count our laps every day for five days and hopefully see an increase in the number of laps we can run!
Art
In our recent Art lesson, we created our own printed paper. We then used this paper, along with some other materials, to create collages to represent different human and physical features of Shanghai.
British Science Week
Terrific Tall Towers - In our science lesson this week we did the same activity as the rest of the school. We had 45 minutes to build the tallest tower from just paper and tape. We showed great teamwork and resilience when things didn't go quite to plan.
The tallest tower in KS1 (and the third tallest in the whole school) was built by a team in our class - a towering 176cm!
Maths
We did lots of different activities to consolidate our knowledge of the 5 and 10 x tables.
World Book Day
To help us celebrate World Book Day, we were lucky enough to have the Year 6 children come and read with us.
