Mud kitchen
On our first day back after the Easter holidays, we were very excited to explore our brand new mud kitchen! We had a wonderful time using our imaginations to create all sorts of delicious “treats,” including pies, cakes, and special recipes made from grass, flowers, leaves, and pinecones. There was lots of mixing, pouring, and teamwork as we shared ideas and worked together.
Back in time!
We really enjoyed exploring transport from the past! We looked at the first person to invent the aeroplane and were amazed to see how it took off. There weren’t even any seats back then!
We also explored steam trains and were very impressed by how much steam they produced. Finally, we looked at cars and how they have changed over time, including early ideas about transport before fuel-powered vehicles, and even earlier when people travelled by horse and carriage.
We had some great discussions about how people used to travel and how transport has developed over the years.
