I am very proud to be the Headteacher of Middlefield Primary Academy.

Our school is truly a place of discovery. Our aim is for all children to develop their talents, reach their potential, and be happy during their time with us.

We want them "To be the best they can be" – our school motto. Even our classes have been named after inspirational people who are/were the best they could be – figures who have demonstrated excellence, perseverance, and determination in their respective fields. These role models serve as both a beacon and a guide for our students, helping them to see the possibilities and strive for greatness.

At Middlefield, we believe in creating a nurturing and stimulating environment where every child feels valued, challenged, and supported. Our dedicated team of staff are committed to ensuring each child has the tools and encouragement they need to succeed academically, socially, and emotionally. Whether it’s through hands-on learning, engaging classroom experiences, or extracurricular activities, we strive to provide a well-rounded education that empowers every child to thrive.

We are excited to see all our pupils grow, not just as learners, but as confident, kind, and responsible individuals ready to make their mark on the world.

We are passionate that Middlefield flourishes by providing a positive and stimulating learning environment. We are also very fortunate to have such wonderful school grounds that support and enhance our children’s learning. Learning about the environment and sustainability is key at Middlefield and we have achieved the green 'Eco School' award.

Middlefield is a very happy school where each learning opportunity is maximised and we celebrate the children's successes every step of the way. We have an amazing staff and super parental involvement, and as a result, pupils are engaged, enthusiastic and proud of their school.

We are a 'non shouting' school and any issues or problems are dealt with calmly by the children and staff. We all aim to be the very best we can be!
