Summer Term
Science - For our final lesson, we looked back on previous learning about states of matter. We learned about viscosity being how runny a liquid is. We carried out a fair test to investigate liquids and their viscosity and flow rate.
Sports Day - Wow what a warm one! We were fabulous and joined in all our events with a smile. Everyone behaved in a very sportsmanlike way - Well Done!
RE - Our topic is - Who was Jesus? Today we considered the different names Christians have for Jesus and the meaning of each. We looked at a selection of images of Jesus and decided which name matched the image best. This led to some very thoughtful discussions about why we chose a particular name.
Science - We continued our classification topic by collecting plants and creating a classification key, using yes/no questions, to sort them.
DT - We taste tested existing biscuits, adapted a recipe, baked our recipe, evaluated our bake and created packaging.
Science - Our new topic is 'Classification and Changing Habitats'. We started by sorting animals in different ways.
Grafham Water - We had an amazing residential trip to Grafham. The sun shone, the children showed bravery, teamwork and most importantly had loads of fun!
