November
We have already been so busy since returning to school after half term. We started the month looking at traditions and celebrations and marked the occasions of Bonfire Night and Remembrance Day with stories and art work. The children also took part in a 1 minute silence with the rest of the school.
Monday 11th November also marks the start of World Nursery Rhyme Week. The children came into school dressed as their favourite nursery rhyme character and all looked amazing! We have been busy singing lots of of nursery rhymes and have enjoyed dedicating revisiting some less traditional nursery rhymes.
We were also lucky enough to have a visit from Wood Green animal shelter who talked to us about how we look after animals and shared the key values of the charity. The children learned all about the different jobs for the people at Wood Green and even got to dress up like them.
