Summer 2025
National Space Centre - We had a fabulous school trip today. So much to see, do and learn.
Science - We have been thinking about how simple machines use forces to make life easier. We tested this wind powered pulley to see how it could lift a heavy load.
History - We were lucky enough to have a visit from Mrs Richards. She talked to us about her family's involvement in The Second World War. She shared fascinating stories and had an array of artefacts. What a fabulous way to open our World War II topic.
Art - We created installation art projects - our installations conveyed a message that was important to us and to immerse the viewer.
Science:- Our topic is forces. Today we investigated friction.
DT - We designed and created pop-up books using a variety of moving mechanisms. On completion, we shared them with the Year 1 children who were our target audience.
