English
In English something exciting happened when we discovered a spaceship that had crashed in the playground. We were making predictions on who it might belong to. We have since found out it is Begus spaceship and she has crashed on our planet.
Science
In science we continue our topic on comparing animals. During this lesson we looked at Jane Goodall and her discovery that chimpanzees express emotions just like us. We made some binoculars and role played what it would be like to observe chimpanzees and then share our findings with the class.
Maths
In maths we have been learning how to compare lengths and heights of different things found in the classroom using objects like multi link blocks to see if things were shorter or longer. We then used rulers to measure different objects in centimetres.
Forest school
We started forest school last week and we have been having so much fun using our imaginations. This week we had cafes, dens, pretend fires and some tree climbing.
