In science we have been looking at the 5 senses; taste, hearing, sight, touch and smell and what body part we use for these senses.
We have conducted lots of fun experiments using our senses.
In art we have been making sculptures using paper and folding it in different ways. We made a tree of life that we carefully planned in our sketch books and then put our ideas in to a beautiful 3D art work.
We are currently making a giant spider made from newspaper. It’s a little bit scary but we will share a picture of him once he is finished.
In geography we have been looking at lots of physical and human features on maps, atlases and globes. We have been comparing the differences in our local area to things we can see in Shanghai.
In maths we have been looking at number bonds to 20 and how we can use different techniques to help us in our maths in addition and subtraction. We learnt how to count on from a greater number, double numbers and find near doubles. We use lots of resources in our maths lesson to help us with this.
