Online Safety is an important part of keeping children safe at Middlefield Primary Academy . We have extensive security measures in place in school, which are monitored both internally and externally, to help safeguard pupils from potential dangers or unsuitable material. Any Online Safety incidents are recorded and managed. Online Safety is taught to all pupils explaining and demonstrating how to stay safe and behave appropriately online.
We can only be successful in keeping children safe online if we work with parents to ensure the Online Safety message is consistent. It is important that parents speak to their children about how they can keep safe and behave appropriately online.
Our E-Safety Champions 2019-2020
Over the Autumn term, a group of Year 6 children voluntarily met up with Mrs Turner on a Wednesday lunch to set up the Year 6 E-Safety champion team. They felt so passionately about helping others stay safe online, that they worked together to create a presentation for a whole school assembly. Today, they presented their hard work and I am very proud of them!
This important group will continue throughout the year.
Who are we?
We are a group of likeminded Year 6 children who care about keeping everyone safe online. Please look out for us around school.
